I'm focusing on RPP for two reasons...I am a member and they are lesser known and need the help. This stalwart, bootstrap theater, with barely a budget to put on a performance, has managed to keep going and to keep pleasing audiences now for 10 years. Last year they participated in the larger arena of One Act competition and came away with multiple awards.
This year marks the first festival at the theater. 4 plays, and the audience gets to vote on their favorite. It's only 8 bucks, and you'll see surprising performances. As I am a closing performance judge, I'll be back with the results, but come out, have dinner in town at Crabby Dick's, and support local community theater!
